Hi, my name is Courtney and say I'm originally from Des Moines Iowa in the United States, but I currently live in Barcelona State. I attend a Saudi business school where I'm enrolled in the Master's in International Management. When I started looking for a Master's program, I knew I wanted to come over to europe to kind of get a different perspective and when I started looking at business schools over here assad, I stood out to me pretty quickly. Not only was it really well ranked, but when I'm engaging with all of their content, I found that it seemed to be really diverse and not just the traditional suit and tie everyone becomes a banker business school, which is something I kind of wanted to avoid. When I started doing applications and interviewing that really got hunted for me. I had a really great interviewer, I felt like I got the chance to really understand what the school was about, kind of interview with him back rather than just getting quizzed on everything, they seem to really want to know what motivated me, what I wanted to do next, and not just numbers on a paper and how impressive I was furthermore. I think that I thought I really stood out to me because it focused so much on innovation, sustainability. It really wanted to push people to understand what challenges were coming in the business world and develop people who will focus and be able to solve those in the future specifically, it shows my program because I thought the Master's in International Management offered the opportunity not only to look at some of the traditional business topics like finance and marketing, but also to look at some of the broader issues in the world and how business play a part like our business and society class. That looks directly at how businesses interact with society and the issues that society are facing and then our geopolitics class that looks at politics and all of the geo issues that we're seeing in the world and also how that plays a role in the way businesses will be done in the future. I think the students who really thrive on a saturday are those who are really curious. So it's not just the professor standing up there for hours and then telling us what they know. It's directly asking us questions or asking for our experience and something our thoughts and we really bounce off each other in the classroom And you get to learn so much because it's such a diverse cohort of people. You have people from 30 plus countries who have lived all over worked um speak all these different languages. You're not just learning from your professor, but you're learning from everyone around you and I think someone that's curious can contribute so much that and get so much out of the experience.
