Welcome to my tour of Johns Hopkins University! I am so excited to be showing you guys around my campus, and telling you a bit more about what the academic and social scene is like here :)
Meet Sung and hear what Harvard is all about. He will tell you all about the "Harvard Introduction". When you meet anyone on campus the first thing you state is your name, grade, house, and concentration. Sung is from Hollice, Freshman, and he is undeclared leaning towards the government.

Festival also hosts a lot of conferences and ballrooms, but students mostly use it as a place to study and eat! It is located on East campus right next to the Skyline Dorms.

AMR 2 is one of the Freshman living options! It's known for being very social and close to the dining hall. It's set up like a traditional college dorm, where everyone generally has one roommate and a bathroom at the end of the hall.

Enjoy an inside look of a typical Kent Core lecture class!! This class is called 7 Ideas That Shook The Universe and is one of the most famous classes Kent State offers. It dives into the background and history of physics and explains why we believe in what we currently do. This lecture is very big which is common for Kent Core classes. Classes for your major will decrease in size as you progress through your course roadmap! Enjoy :)
There are many different types of classes that you can take at Harvard. There are two types of classes that you can take, reading and problem set classes. You want to make sure that you pick a diverse group of classes. Fun fact: Harvard time is a special time system where classes don't officially start till seven minutes after the posted start time.

Here is a video of the football stadium!
The Inn is used for Swing Housing, temporary housing for students. The campus is currently remodeling much of the upperclassmen housing so during this period of time students are moved to new locations such as The Inn.

This housing quad overlooks the river, hence the "river rats" nickname given to the students who live here. Apparently river houses have a lot of rats...it's probably a joke.
Kevin is in UC with me the acapella group. He chose Harvard because of the resources that the school has to offer as well as the strong and smart community that Harvard has. Diversity is huge at Harvard and it makes it so interesting for students to meet new people.
