Night life at UW is what you make of it and what you're interested in! So far, there hasn't been much to do in the dorms as far as organized events, but you can always have friends over in the dorm rooms! In greek life, there's always people going out, as well as greek people who stay in. University Village and the ave are usually filled with UW students grabbing food or ice cream late at night.
As a husky, you will have access not only to the gym, but outdoor tennis courts as well.
Join Carson on a sunny walk through the Quad.
Hello everyone! I'm so excited to show you around campus and to some of my favorite spots around UW! Stay tuned and hopefully you'll get to love UW just as much as I do!!
This is a tour of the Einsteins Bros Bagels and the Northside Market located in the ground floor of Global Scholars Residence Hall.
Paccar Hall is the main building for business majors! UW's foster school of business is very highly ranked and competitive to get into! I recently realized my interest in business so I will be applying to foster's at the end of my sophomore year most likely! There's a library, classrooms, study area, cafe, and more here in Paccar! Anyone can go into Paccar to study or hang out and it's on north campus, close to greek row!
Meet Gabby and Grace! They are both freshmen here at UW and are both in Greek Life. Here, Gabby and Grace give their thoughts about what there experience here at UW has been like so far as far as academics, social life, and overall environment!
Center Table is the dining hall that is right next to my dorm so I go there every time I want to use my meal card! It has a good variety of options and it's brand new. Some of my favorite options are the sandwich place (similar to Subway style), the Asian noodle place, the Latin place (serves healthy bowls Chipolte style), and the Pagliacci (pizza of course)! The Center Table is brand new and doesn't have a street view available yet so the Huskey Union Building is also a good place to get food in a dining hall with your meal card and has similar options!
Here's a little about things you can do at UW to keep yourself safe! Our campus is so big and is open to the public so it can get a bit sketchy at certain parts of the night. UW police has a great resource called Night Walk where they will send someone to walk with you back to your dorm or house. You can also register your electronics with UWPD in case you lose them or they get stolen and they will find it for you using the serial number.
Welcome to Western Oregon University, also commonly referred to as WOU or Western! I am so glad you're here, and I can't wait to show you around this wonderful campus that I call home! Let's get started!
Grab a bite to eat at the Husky Union Building (HUB). There are a bunch of cuisines to choose from, including: Hawaiian, Caribbean, Mexican, and Chinese.

Didn't like Center Table? That's okay! There are many different dining options on campus, such as By George Cafe. By George Cafe, its news stand, and some Husky services offices are located right under Odegaard library. After showing you around the cafe, Charlotte takes over and shows you all Kane Hall -- The largest lecture hall at UW!
Red Square is home to many of the well-known buildings. Including Kane Hall, Odegarrd Library, and Suzzallo Library. You will often find club booths, club fairs, protests, and food trucks out and about in Red Square.
Come with Carson as she walks through the Quad on a sunny afternoon!
Check out the top floor of Suzzallo, which has a great study area
