Hey, guys, I hope you're doing well from wherever you're watching. I'm from Lexington, Kentucky, but currently a student at Georgetown College. Things I'm interested in, I absolutely love being outside in nature and hiking and being with friends and family. Being community is one of my favorite things to be doing. So. Like I said before, I am from Lexington, Kentucky. I have moved kind of all over, so I kind of feel like I'm from Washington, Missouri, and here is Well, uh, yeah, I do go to Georgetown College. That is the beauty of having a small, intentional college that they really want to teach you in person. We've had very minimal Kobe cases, which has been awesome, and we've really gotten thio beyond campus little time, which has been great. It's been a good like freshman year so far, the way we're doing classes this semester as we're doing sub sessions. So it's like your schedule of seven or eight classes. However many you're taking is kind of split in half, so you take one set of classes for seven weeks and then the other set of classes for seven weeks, and you take files at the end of each of those seven week periods. Then we went home a little early for Christmas break. Like, I kind of said in a previous video when I was looking into colleges, I really was super unsure of what I wanted. I didn't know if I wanted a big school or a small school. I don't know if I wanted to be out of state or in state eso. I had toured to colleges before Georgetown College, and then when I came to Georgetown, I was like, Yeah, I definitely want a small school. I love the intentionality in the community based feel and how it just felt right, like to kind of be there. That sounds kind of cheesy, but it felt good to be there. After I went on tour there, I prayed through it and I talked to a lot of friends and family and definitely decided that that was the place that I wanted to be and grow the next three or four years. There was a lot of people throughout that process here and fill in spite of decision beyond family and friends. I met a lot of people in the admissions office that were great. I definitely don't think I would have looked in Georgetown as much if it weren't for the really kind and intentional people that work in the admissions building. Um, she was super great with connecting with me and just getting to know me really calmed all my college nerves, which was great. Now we're friends, which is an even better story. She's a really great girl that I'm very great. So I was just in the seat that you were looking for colleges. About a year ago, I took my first two were at Georgetown s. So it's really cool to kind of see that full circle. Now I get to sit here and tell prospective students about how much I loved Georgetown and just hope that they really do look into this college eso I am a freshman. I've taken a lot of those classes so far, but also like those Jennette requirements. I definitely, really enjoy my major classes more just because you really get to Tater toe what you're passionate about, which is so awesome. Even if it's a class that I'm not super excited about, The professors are always really kind and willing to extend that extra help if it's something that you're not particularly like, skilled in or not something you know a lot about their always willing to be there for you and help you through that. So is that or to your major? Those are even more exciting because that's the thing I've loved about college so far is getting to learn about things you're passionate about and toe have this time to prepare you for whatever is next. 100 and 10% recommend looking into Georgetown as soon as possible. I do believe that really hard working, passionate students come to Georgetown. I do think there is a place for every type of person here, regardless of your gender, your race, your background, what your interests are, what you're passionate about. I definitely think that Georgetown is a really good job of making a very inclusive, welcoming environment where everybody can kind of feel at home, Yeah..
