Colgate's Residential Quad

Everybody, it's me again, and I'm here in front of the residential quad and next to my friend Alec High. Yeah, we're sitting in a bench in front of the residential quad and on the residential quad air all of the rest of the dorms on campus. So Curtis and Drake are over back in their own little area behind Frank. Yeah, and then the upperclassmen are down the hill, but the rest of the lower classman dorms are right behind us. We have East and West uh, Andrews in Stillman's over that way. Then there are two new dorms being built, which is really cool. So the residential quad is right adjacent to the academic ward. You can see the chapel right there, and then that's Lawrence Hall right there. So just right across from East and West and Alex here is academic clod. One thing about the residential quad is there a lot more trees, which is really pretty in the fall. That's why most of the events and stuff happened on Mak Tai Muk Wah just because there's more space, and so, yeah, that's pretty much it with the residential. There's a lot of Western New York people here, but that's a bit closer than me, right? Yeah. Were you able to tour here before you came? I actually wasn't able to tour, but I went on, uh, revisit day tour here, but I got it from that. Do you wish you like we're able to see the campus more than you came? Like I kind of do. I mean, like, the tour was nice and everything, but it was kind of like an outsider view of the school. Uh, instead of, like, actually feeling like a student. So it's a little different, but not bad. Yeah. What's one thing? Not like surprised you when you came on campus. Like I knew it was built on a hill like, there's so many hills. Um, I'm used to it, but the schools, the school of the squirrels worlds here different from any other squirrels I've seen before. Yeah, but college girls, I bet it's like that on a bunch of campuses to Yeah, Colgate schools in particular. One other thing about the residential squad that I completely forgot to mention is there, like, uh, Adirondack chairs. Yeah, that kind of like our all throughout the quad. And they're really nice because you can sit there and read and do homework when it's nice out, which is like, couple months of the years. Yeah, we got a few warmer days in the fall, but yeah, that was pretty cold, right? So that's it for the residential quad. I'll catch you guys somewhere else.
