Oxford students head to Atlanta a lot because there is a lot more to do there compared to Oxford. Definitely go check out Atlanta, downtown, and midtown, you won't regret it.
Atlanta is a short 45-minute drive away but going there is worth it, for sure. Georgia Tech, Georgia State, SCAD, and Emory's Atlanta campus are all located in and around downtown Atlanta. There's so much to do and everyone can find something to enjoy. My friend, Ben, and I went to Piedmont Park to check out the Atlanta Dogwood Music Festival! There's something like that going on every weekend at a surrounding college or in the heart of Atl!
