I'm currently enrolled in the M s accounting program at Foreign Universities Graduate Gabelli School Business. I'm from New Jersey and I'm currently living there taking my classes virtually this semester, which is a little bit more specifics about my program. So it really depends which way you're taking your career. So I'm going down the accounting route where if you're starting in tax, you would be enrolled in the M S taxation program. Regardless, are really aimed at those students on the 150 credit five year C p a track. I've taken a variety of classes in my master's program so far, varying from very structured normal accounting classes to some different or unique not directly related to accounting classes. Um, and I've really enjoyed every class that I've taken. Um, some of the specific ones have taken financial statement analysis. I'm currently an advanced financial statement analysis, so those are more accounting driven. I took an international accounting class audit Data Analytics. Corporate taxation was a requirement for the masters of accounting program, whereas a lot of students enrolled in the masters of taxation program. That is a requirement for either program. Um, I took a class, probably the most interesting one. It was a tutorial with the SAS be the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board. It was a very different type of class, and we were It was primarily research based, and we were able to work directly with this as be in performing research for a project that a global project that they're working on. Um, so there's a lot more flexibly structured, not weekly meetings, but more research on our own. I was able to kind of take a leadership role on in that class, and it taught me so much about being a manager to other students and really kind of leading a team and also about researching and diving into professional research and how to accomplish that. Really, there's a large array across a variety of interests, So I think they appeal to whatever your interests are. You can find a class in M s accounting taxation program that might not be directly accounting or taxation that will spark your interest. Why not take a three credit class and something different that you like? So I think that's what's great about the Fordham M s programs. Think another huge perk of being enrolled in the M S programs is being able to take advantage of the workshops that they offer to students. If you're able to carve out a couple hours, every couple of weeks. They've varied from business etiquette workshops to an all tricks workshop with specific KPMG professionals, two panels of alumni or other professionals who are speaking about their career paths and what they've learned from that. So I think that's something that Ford, um, offers in addition to their course load that really sets the program apart and helps the students out for their future careers. So I think if you're on the c P a track looking for efficient master's degree, but one where you can really take advantage of so many different opportunities and have access to experienced professionals network make connections and just learn the most you can from a one year degree. I think Fordham is the perfect place for you, and you should totally consider it.
