So today I'm going to come at you with tips and info about our majors and academics here at Georgetown. I hope that you decide some truth and facts and what I'm saying. I hope that it helps you in your search or call it. Oh and if any of you are wondering where I am at right now, I am not in my dorm. I am currently at my house in my brother's room. So you have in my brother's room, I used to have a room here but now it went to my little brother. Noah, so I no longer have a room here in the house and that's why I'm moving in with my mammal, which I'm very, very excited about. I just wanted to let you all know where I am just in case you're wondering what this is and wondering if I had a deer head in my dorm because I don't Mhm. All right. So to start with me, I am currently undeclared but I plan to major double major actually in business administration and corollary spanish with a minor in christian leadership. It's also called business spanish and it's merely a major if you want to just learn the language and not become a spanish teacher or anything like. Mhm. Mhm. So I've always been interested in business or thought of like being my own boss. So that's kind of a dream that I've for a while to spanish. I've always been told for years that I was good at spanish and you know, I finally just accepted it and realized that it would look really good on a resume and it would help me get a lot of jobs that I might not be able to get. You just have that advantage when they know that you're bilingual at any job that you go to basically. So I also thought that spanish would be very helpful in that sense as well. I used to have this want to be in the Oxford honors program and that's what I originally applied for. I got into independent, I started going to their workshops for Oxford and I really, really loved it and I believed in myself that I could do it, but I decided to make the decision in the realization that maybe it was just not in God's plan for me to be in Oxford and that doesn't mean I'm not capable of getting into it. It just means that like if I was meant to be an Oxford, I would have been the first time. So I just kind of accepted it and I have some more like future plans that maybe can feel my urge and I want to study abroad, so we'll see how that goes. I've always kind of been the student that really tries hard but it's also really hard on herself. Like I'll get mad at myself if I get to be like I'll get so mad like it irks my nerves and like I just said I also plan to study abroad so next winner. The spanish department or language department is taking a study abroad trip to Mexico. So I think I'm going to try to go like it'll really help me to get up my speaking in spanish and make me more confident speaking to native speaker and I think it'll really help me with my major and then I have a plan or goal to receive a four point out every single semester here at Georgetown. So that is my goal for my entire collegiate academic career. I want to get a four point out every single semester. So all that you know academics at G. C. Ask any G. C. Student what the best thing is about Georgetown and you'll hear the same exact our faculty amazing literally amazing. Every single professor I've had amazing loved every single one of them actually like genuinely love them. Over 90% of our faculty have the highest degree in their field. G. C. Students consistently say their advisors are approachable and care about their success. Now what do all of these numbers mean? One personal attention from faculty means that you get helping classes where you struggle and encouragement to excel in classes where you are strong to your faculty comes to your gains and cheers for you by name and they support you and all your endeavors. It means mentorship that shapes you networking opportunities that get you that first job and an exceptional christian education that helps you succeed in your entire career. Now in regards to majors, I thought I could tell you a little bit about what my friends are majoring in. So the first is my bestie Peyton Row, she is majoring in engineering arts here at G. C. Next is L. A. Forest who love, which is majoring in biomed now with Peyton and L. A. G. C offers a lot of pre programs like pre made pre wall where you can enter into the three to program with UK where you go to Georgetown for three years and then transferred to U. K. For another two years and you would transfer into their programmes there. So in regards to pay in her situation she is majoring in engineering arts at G. C. Because it's the only engineering major that we have. Then when she transfers to U. K. She will be receiving a degree in chemical engineering because that's what she wants to do. She is majoring in exercise science and health care administration so she's double major now no matter what major you choose whether it's accounting classics, european studies or sports administration you will be setting under the most qualified faculty receiving a one in a million. I hope that it gave you some truth and gave you some ideas about what school and academics the majors or like at Georgetown if you have any questions at all. I'm gonna link below our page to our Georgetown website. I'll probably give the link to the academics area in the majors area, in departments area. I also might link down below the honors program just because I mentioned it.
