It's back up back at it again, Um, giving you a room tour like a classic vlogger. I am currently living in a quad, which means it's a room with four people. So it's the three of us in this quad. It gives us plenty of space. I, it's a really fun space, honestly, Definitely a party room, if not for co vid way have on this side is my roommates side of the room. We also have all the closet space over on this side, which is honestly, plenty of space on my side. For the bed that we did have we got rid of the bed and actually made accounts out of it s O. That was kind of a pretty sweet deal. We'll just put a computer down there and watched up and over here not showing you the top space because it's super messy is a lot of the storage space for your clothes. Go over here we have The wonderful thing about a quad is how much desk space you get. So there's obviously for four people, but we're only using three. Also it's helpful to use the one that's not being used. I have my desk with my little calendar here, pencils and stuff, My computer, my beautiful cows. Um, then I have just knickknacks and books and stuff that I like, and my school stuff is all on this side. Initially, they were actually just a part of my friend group. I met Hannah, who is from Hungary, because she was a part of interconnect, which I mentioned in my last video, something I was a part of. Eso us, as TCK has got to get to know each other before school started, And so I got close with her and her roommate, Faith, who was from the United States. What's her roommate last year, and then we all just became really good friends and decided Thio get a quad together. What's really cool is that they have, like, nooks along the hallways that enable you to study if you want outside of your room, or just read or do anything. We also have a kitchen space and a lounge space per floor so we can cook things. We can store things in the fridge, do whatever, honestly, and then there's the lounge where you can watch TV. You can hang out with your roommates, hang out with other people or do homework and other extra space to do homework or do class. So a note about the bathrooms the bathrooms are stalls on dares to stalls up here because there's not a lot of people on the floor. Um, so it works out pretty perfectly, actually, even though it looks kind of meth at first, you get used to it, and it's fine. I love living on campus in the dorms, and I love it because I'm on campus. I'm just able to easily access all the buildings. I'm in Gillette Hall, which I realized I didn't mention until now. Gillette Hall is like in the middle of the buzz. It's right next to the dining hall, and it's also next to a lot of other classes s. So it's very convenient. It's also the dorms have a lot of fun events that you get to be a part of. So this every year they have the Gillette race, and it's basically the amazing race and just a bunch of goofy challenges and stuff where you run around all of campus and you're basically fighting for glory, and it's really awesome, and it's a lot of fun. Personally, I say my least favorite part about living in a dorm is just having roommates like I. I love my roommates. There's definitely times where I want some alone time, and I want to just be able to jam in my own room. Because of me being a nice person, I'm not gonna be obnoxious while my roommates are working. So it's just more of a privacy thing of wanting to have some alone time. Thio have some alone time, which, honestly, isn't really that big of a downfall. Another thing to note about washing machines now the second thing about being on fourth floors that the washing machines or in the basement, which means you have to walk five flights of stairs to get down there. Washing machines and dryers are all available to you on campus. In your own dorm, you don't have to pay for the washing machines or the dryers. Um, you do have to bring your own detergent or tide pods or whatever, but it is available to you for free.
