Sports aren't really a big thing at Loyola. We are D one school, but people don't really attend the games at a rate that you would find at a big university. Um, our basketball team is rebuilding, but we have a really good lacrosse program. A couple of years ago, the guys won nationals and to celebrate our school, built a new stadium for them. A lot of people participate in club sports and in fact, those air pretty good. Um, our women's the club lacrosse team is probably the best in the country, and our women's club hockey team is pretty good. They made it pretty far in the tournament on Lee, losing in the semi final game. I guess in a way people participate war in sports than they watch it here, like intramurals, are pretty popular. A lot of guys participate in the intramural basketball leagues. I do intramural indoor soccer, but they also out through soccer and flag football. A club ultimate Frisbee team is pretty popular, so I guess to sum up. The sports culture here at Loyola Sports aren't really part of our drinking culture. It's not really part of nightlife, but people do like to participate in sports, and a lot of people get together and hang out and makes friends that way.
