So I am going to talk to you about classes at Layla. So loyal lot is a medium high school, but our classes are really small with a few exceptions. So I most colleges, you're going to get these huge lecture halls with over one hundred students. Your professor won't necessarily know you, and it's really up to you to make a student teacher relationship. So one of the reasons I chose Laila personally was the fact that all the classes are really small. The only time that you ever have a big class is either number one. If you are a business student and you were taking business core classes, some those we'LL have, I think max eighty students. If you ar e bio or kem student, Those intro Med student classes are also in lecture halls of up to sixty people, but other than that have the biggest cost size that you're going to encounter is about twenty eight people for all of your core classes. That's about the size you get, and then as you get more specializes, your costs will get even smaller. For example, I'm in my second semester junior year. My biggest class has fifteen people in it, and my smallest class has only about ten. The smallest closet ever had actually only had three other students in it, and it was a photography class, and it is my favorite classes I've ever taken. The great thing about this is that you really get to know your professor's a lot of the times you're sitting in some bar rooms that are circular and you're just having a discussion and engaging with your professor. Professors off the stores are always open, And even though professors do have set office hours, everyone here is so willing to make appointments with you or just stop and say, hi, challenge your way to class and it really, really effects the feel of this universe. See, because you don't feel like you're being left alone. Your professor's actually care about you, and I've become really close friends with some of my professors way talk about life. I have professors that I've helped me with signing my least and filing taxes like your professor's really, really become an anchor and a support for you here because they know you because you're in the small, small class environments that having been said there is a downside and that is attendance is mandatory, mandatory and most classes here. I've only had two classes ever where attendance was not mandatory. Those were my intercom, psych class and my Kevin Society class, which is like cam for non science majors and those two causes you could skip when he wanted. Calls were usually only allowed to miss twice a semester. This's a lot different from big lecture halls, because your professor is going to know if you weren't there. Participation really, really matters in class, and professors actually care if you're there. Participating in your grade will suffer if you are not going to class so this could be given take for people like me. I have some chronic health conditions that keep me from being able to go to class sometimes, so I worked with disability support services so that I could get more lenient attendants policies. It's also something really helpful your freshman year. If you are not going to class, your professors are going to hound you about it. You're gonna have to learn really quickly that you have to show up to your A t m class because everyone is going to end up with a date. Yeah, that's kind of what causes are like here at Layla, and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do if you come here and if you are looking for small class sizes, we really get to know the other students in your professor's.
