So it's no secret that a big part of going to college is your social life. Everybody wants to have a good a social life in college because it was the last time in your life where you do not have a full time job and that you kind of have a lot of freedom. For the first time, you don't have your parents making decisions for you. So it's really a great time to kind of explore and see um, world so loyal. Depending on what type person you are and what you're looking for. We do not have Greek life here, So that's something you're looking for. Um, we are a wet campus, which means that if you are of age, you are allowed to have alcohol and consume alcohol on campus. So senior side is always throwing parties and pre gaming for different events. They have senior events that actually have alcohol at them, so that is something that is allowed here. Um, but because of kind of the lack of Greek life and being located in the city, loyal A is a bar school which basically means that most people are going out Thursday in Saturday night's the big nights to go out at Layla. I personally have never had a fake I. D. It was not the right decision for me, and I'm not a big, um, a party person, but I do know people who have and you can get in a lot of trouble if you get caught with your fake, so just be careful and really think through that decision before you make that decision. That being said, most people are going out on Thursdays and Saturdays. If you that's not what you want to do, Little has great late night programming every single weekend. You will get a schedule for Thursday Friday Saturday nights. Um, and loyal will have a program every single night, so it will range from concerts every single Thursday night put on by the radio station W L A. Why Tio Midnight breakfast, which usually happens Friday and Saturday nights from twelve a. M to two a. M. And that is free food. So even if you do go out, sometimes people go to midnight breakfast on the way back and get some food in their stomach, which is always a great idea if you are consuming any type of substance, and then they will also have other kind of calmer events. My freshman year, I think I went toe like six month painting events just because they happen all of the time. Then there's also our events, So it's definitely not something that you have two D.'Oh along with that. When I came here, I really wasn't sure about Baltimore as a city. I loved loyal of the school, but I was like then Baltimore, like obviously you hear about crime all the time in the gang violence, so it kind of made me really nervous and made my family nervous going into the city to live. I have discovered that Baltimore is a beautiful, beautiful city. There is so much to do There are so many art museums. It's really, really close by, like, five minutes away on Johns Hopkins campus, and it is a free art museum, and they're always switching things out there. I love love, love going there, So that's something that I like to do. There's a ton of restaurants, cafes, coffee shops in cute little areas in the city. So if you come here, don't just go to the Inner Harbor. Fells Point is a beautiful little area, which is on the other side of the harbor. It has all little shops and restaurants, and also you can just sit by the water, and it is so, so relaxing. It makes me think of home because I grew up by the ocean. So I really enjoyed going there, and that Hamden, which is actually in walking distance from here, is this nice area with little shops, restaurants on beautiful, beautiful houses. It's just honestly, a beautiful city, and there's so much cultural life here. So please go out and explore if you come here because Baltimore is a city that definitely has a bad reputation that it doesn't necessarily deserve. Yes, there's crime here, like this crime in any city. Make sure that I'm going with friends and being conscientious of my surroundings as you would be in any city, especially as a female. Baltimore has some great things to offer, so definitely grow.
