So why don't you just introduce yourself, say your major, how old you are and why you picked Marquette University. I'm studying corporate communications and marketing, and I am a sophomore, so I'm twenty years old. The recent I chose to come to Marquette is because it had a really great program for my major. That was specific in corporate communications, unlike a lot of universities where it's just general communications. It's also a really great location for anybody in the Midwest because it's kind of like a generalized location. So it's only an hour and a half away from my home. Yeah, it's now a halfway from my home to So it's like a very easy way to get to a place at Marquette. Do you think there are any sort of stereotypes that you found? Um, I think that there's definitely groups that letting out together, but I think the way you find your group is either through your major or clubs that you participate in. For example, I joined a sorority, so I kind of hang out with those people. Um, and so I think you hang out with people in college, you find people who are like you, and those are the types of, like groups or upset you're with. You your work blue light? Because I'm in advertising, Major. So we take general classes together, but tell me more about your specific major a little bit. So my work would, I would say, is really pretty manageable. I take a lot of the general communication classes as well as some business classes and then a market they encourage you to take. I mean, is actually required in a lot of sense is to take class is outside of your major. So you really come out of the university having a well rounded education. So tell me something you don't like about Marquette because we've already been talking about throws. The main thing I don't like about Marquette is that it's in the city of Milwaukee just because we do get a lot of interesting people on campus all day. When you come from a small town like I'm from, I'm just not used to interacting with people who are begging me for money. Yeah, I've never been cat called more than I have in me. I think a lot of people a bit more forward than they are in Chicago way do have homeless people anywhere you go. I feel like here they're a bit more aggressive. We have MPD and we have little buttons to call, and we have a little service to take you anywhere at night around campus, so you can't avoid it. It does happen, and that's just just wear the This is where the school is, and there's nothing you can do. So how would you define Marquette versus other schools that you replying Tio? What made it? Well, Mark, that was actually the first girl I had a chance to tour. I really like to that first just because my tour guide I connected with her so much and she seemed just like somebody who I would love to go to school with, have become friends with. I think it was that culture of the student body that really made Marquette stand out amongst the other schools on day. Really good looking love night program, like really strong for a loved one hundred percent, so I don't know what the exactly percent is, but a lot of people hire right out of Marquette, and I can't speak to that inn. I had a summer internship because I was attending market. All right? And then the last question is, what is one piece of advice you would give to your senior self Be comfortable with being your own person Enough that when you get to college, you're not, like, just totally shocked that you're on your own for the first time. I will find people like me because you really like I struggle that first finding people who are related to cause I was like, who am I? But if you're comfortable enough with who you are, you'll find people similar to yourself.
