I'm a junior studying early childhood education at Millersville University. In today's video I'm going to walk you guys around the rest halls at Miller's Bill. When you come here as a freshman you will be living in one of our residents halls on campus. So I'm sure you're wondering where the heck am I going to sleep at night? Well if you come here and live at Millersville University you will either be sleeping in a double suite or single sweep. So if you go over to the side you will see a whole bunch of mailboxes. Then on the opposite wall there is a TV as well as a printer for students to print off any papers they might have forgotten to do until 2:00 AM. You're gonna head down your whole once you wave hi to the ri and show them your I. D. And you will then enter into your suite. The double suite is the standard at Millersville University. So two and A. Two and B. That means four people living together. So you will be getting a desk, rocking chair, two dressers, A bed frame, even the mattress comes with the room. Pro tip, bring a mattress pad. The beds do raise and lower how you like them. A lot of students do like to put their dressers underneath the bed which you can see here. They also have the other dresser right underneath the window because there is a cable jack. Also thank the Lord almighty, we do not have communal bathrooms. Each of the double suites comes with two bathrooms because it's a policy here at Millersville University that we only have Two students for one bathroom in the residence halls. What I love about the bathrooms is the sink is outside the bathroom so you can still brush your teeth if your roommate takes 20 minute showers. Now the bathroom has a toilet as well as a functioning shower that doesn't have a built in shells. You head over into a you have Student one their dresser dresser underneath, comfortable bed with so many pillows. Then you have the desk rocking chair that's extremely comfortable. Pro tip, hang attention round on top, hang a curtain Then window with 2nd students dresser, my backpack. Second students bed with another dresser underneath their desk. You can't have a breakfast station outside here. We had a cute little table out here with a cure IgG as well as some cereals and a mini fridge full of milk. Then you come over here boom bathroom number two with Boom. 2nd mirror high then bedroom B. You walk in, you have Student # three Technically 1 in this bedroom. They had the desk, rocking chair, bed dresser underneath second dresser underneath the window. You can bring in your own or you can rent from the university. So that's the walkthrough of a double suite. Now I'm gonna take you guys over to a single sweet. If you're wondering what the difference is between double and single. The only difference is there's one bed in each of these rooms with one bed at a one bed and be so you get your very own room congrats. That's what every kid hopes or when they go to college there's also the two people per one bathroom policies. So that's why we have one bathroom just for the single suites. So the bed frame, the dresser, the desk, the rocking chair, even the wooden mattress comes with the room, bring a mattress, but it will help you a whole bunch. I'll walk throughout the single suite on one side of the common era. You have the sink on the opposite end, you have the bathroom. If we go into a you can see the bed with comfy mattress. There's also the one huge dresser, desk, rocking chair and closet space. If we go over to be bed desk, rocking chair should be here then closet space. Then over here in the corner is the unit that you can rent out from the university with the microwave and micro fridge. Thank you so much for joining me on these tours through the residents halls at Millersville University and now you've got to see where you'll be living your freshman year here in college.
