This build this building right behind me is on the park blocks, and it is the Smith Memorial student union. There's actually no classes taught here, but they have a ton of different resource senators. The queries for Center, the Multicultural Resource Center, the women's research centers across campus, the Veterans Resource Center, the students with Children's Resource Center, The there are others. There's a lot because Portland State is bountiful and resource is. You have to be proactive with finding what, and I'm not going to take you through this whole building to do so. I'm taking you downstairs to the sub basement, because this is where all the really interesting stuff is. Now, now we're in the basement of the student media. I just kind of ran into some of my old friends that I had who worked for housing. If you then that will probably be in a different video. That's where the Pacific Sentinel, the Vanguard PS You TV and a number of different media outlets for on camp for students who got important state. Those are all down there and all always looking for writers, editors, people, toe work, people to work for them and people that are willing to work hard for them. Now, further down this way we have the Portland State food pantry. Now, any Portland State student can come here with important state ID and dead. I'm not sure what the exact numbers are, but quite a bit of food. Food insecurity is something that a lot of our students face, especially because most Portland state students are not traditional, meaning that they're not coming from parents who are paying for their school right out of high school. You know, after taking a couple years off after deciding that's maybe school is for them coming back for a second degree and coming into school with a lot of that bag, it can be financially challenging. Like I said, just another resource department state has and I can help you with. Now, down here have the Office of Information and Technology, which they control pretty much all of the technology type stuff for PS you. They tried to get into my student account, which has my Social Security number, like my bank account. All this crazy stuff, Um, which this could make me a victim, isn't it? Someone tried to hack into that, and they were the ones that helped me deal with it.
