The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Hi. My name is just going on giving you this tour. Uh, I'm not from the area on my hometown is Actually he's in Texas, so it's a huge change, or it's a pretty big change going from there to Rochester. With in my first year, I t I definitely learned a lot. I've had a good time and I've done a lot of adjusting going into all right. No, you may not know, just numbers kind of subject my graphics because looking into schools, that was something that I looked into that was important to me. I think when you look it up, but that number does include God students. Um, the ratio, because of their stumps school of male or female, is two to one, and you will notice that occasionally if your girl on campus you'll kind of get that feeling. There's a lot of spaces that have been created on campus we have woman, Senator and SG. There's woman and stem different clubs that are available to you then we have, along with being a stump school, were private university. So this school is in with, like, race demographics, sixty three percent way for students and seventy seven percent white for faculty. There's a decent amount of students for color, and the community is really close. I'm very active within the community, and I really appreciate having not here. So that's something that you would want me as a resource to you. It's a lot of events, is a lot of clubs and affiliates that are part of it and have really helped me through my first year being our anti finishing the first year. From my freshman experience, my favorite part was probably being involved in a special interest house because that does change your experience. In my opinion, compared to just living on a random floor, you're on the special interest house that was created and you applied for with people with interest that are similar to yours because they're there for a purpose. They apply, probably for similar reasons that you applied and you have access to things that people that live on other floors probably wouldn't have access to. My least favorite is coming from a large city to Rochester has been an adjustment. When you come to Rochester, you have to appreciate it for what it is. It's a smaller city, but they have a great art scene. Our college activities board gives you those opportunities to leave campus and participate and other things that are not on campus. They give you rides, which is great, and some of the activities air free. Some of them they charge for it, but they're extremely cheap. Garbage place, very proud of it, and I think that's cool. Um, there isn't as much to do as there would be in a big city. Culturally, you don't have the variety of like food. I had a lot of different types of food available to me, and now that I'm here, look even Mexican food like there's not really a place that I can get that from. There is other place we can get other cripes types of Hispanic food, like Dominican food. There's a bidding visiting chef that comes on campus and serves that kind of food, so you will have access to from that point on, that probably my least favorite thing is just location. If you come from a place that's smaller than Rochester, then there probably is a lot to do. In your opinion, it kind of just depends on perspective. I know they're special thing about Artie is that if you already don't know about it or aren't in Bob's, you will to some love will become familiar with deaf culture with already does have the National Technical Institute for the Death. We have a lot of deaf and hard of hearing students when you live in, especially if you live in dorms. If you live in the dorms, have the mix floors with hearing end hard of hearing and up students. There's that interaction from there, but there's also opportunities that you have to interact with those students. Language is one of your perspective courses, so you do kind of have to look for that. That's something that is available to you if you're interested in it. So that's something that's different about our tea. If you are someone who is hearing you'LL learn about that, and that is interesting. I hope you enjoy this tour, and I hope that this introduction within this introduction you plan some things.
