One of the unique aspects of S I U D as an institution is the scholarships we have available for incoming freshmen. The highest available scholarship is the Meridian Scholarship, which offers full tuition as well. We also have select full tuition scholarships and Cooper Pride scholarships, which are worth four thousand dollars per semester. There are lots of opportunities available for students, too. Really excel in the classroom through the honors program as the Meridian scholarship is offered in accordance with the honors program. It's very hard to capture moments in my honors class because they're so interesting as faras conversation goes there very engaging. So it was a little bit difficult for me to catch him footage. We watch Star Trek in class, and in this exact class, we were currently watching Hotel Rwanda, and this was a class about globalization. In the past, I've taken classes on diversity classes on, uh, connections between two, UH, contrast ing topics. So I took a class called Connections, which connected ignorance and education, so we had to explore how ignorance works within an educational context. You can apply to be a part of the honors program, and I highly recommend doing it to kind of vary up your typical routine of going through the college experience.
