I wanted to film it when I was ready, and when I felt like it would be a good time for you to see it. That being said, it's spring time you've heard back from your schools. This either means that you got into the school that you really want to go to and you are ecstatic. You work so hard and you deserve this or you applied to schools that you really wanted to go to and you were rejected. At the time of being a senior in high school, I had some top schools. Actually, I knew I wanted to go to New York or California, but I didn't know exactly where, and because of that, it hindered my applications. I believe, because I didn't have that dream school at the moment of like, I will do anything to go here. I just had 21 schools that I sent in applications, too, and had a lot of options in the yet that, to be honest, overwhelmed me to keep the short. My school experience could be found in videos on my channel. I have my freshman, your experience at school that I really didn't be at going along with that. Now something that I really didn't talk about is that as a freshman at this college, I really wasn't that happy at for a multitude of reasons. I applied to transfer a lot, and I had it in my mind that really fell in love with Barnard College in New York City. I really I love everything about the school and what it stands for The first time that I really felt like I got a glimpse into it was when I was reading The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls about two years ago, just graduated from high school, and I was reading at that summer. I worked my butt off not only in school but the applications of the essays. I sent it to so many people more than I did as a senior in high school, because I was so this was so important to me. I understand now when you're a senior and you have that school. I didn't have that the time that came when I was in college already. I knew where I wanted to be, and it was at Barnard, and it was in New York City. I've been rejected to a few other schools when I was applying as a senior, but none of them for schools that I was dying to be at, and it hurt. I was sad. I was envisioning a future at there, and it wasn't lying to happen just by one tiny email, and it really brought down my mood. I don't want to go back to where I was staying, but I had Thio and actually I didn't even re enroll, so I had to do a lot of things over the summer. If I had more time on this memory card, I would totally go my journal and find it. This time it wasn't from Bernard College, but it was from a magazine and editor, actually, and he had wonderful news for me. I have been accepted as a writer, and they wanted to publish three of my pieces I had never submitted before. We're excited to share news of people more excited than when I got accepted to schools. This was what was really important to me because I'm a writer and that's what I want to do with my life. I want to affect people longer than I will be alive because I think all writers have that a desire thio achieve immortality. What I mean by this is that at this time in my life, I was putting energy into these applications and these writing submissions, and I submitted both with just hope and love and just putting everything I could out there into the world and it brought everything back to me. If you have been rejected from Barnard and that's why you clicked on this video or just from a school in general, I'm sorry, because I understand now how badly that could hurt because he worked so hard and you didn't want this to happen. It could be something not really go to school, like with me and writing and how that came at such a wonderful time. That's OK, and this feeling shall pass and you will find success and happiness elsewhere that you realized you wouldn't have had had you got into that school.
