Again, I just finished a run and I wanted to show something that was really fun. That was happening on campus, that I didn't even know what's happening, and I just happened to walk through it as I was going on my run. This is right outside on the Harris Mill a screen, and it's a really fun activity just to get everyone involved and to feel more of a sense of community. A saying It gives a little overview of the types of events that were happening. There's live music, fire pits, rail jam acts, throwing disc golf, just a lot of fun activities to dio to kind of boost morale and makes people feel more in a community. There were a lot of games that were being played out on the field. It was just a really great um time to be able to enjoy outside and see more people in the community. There are people in hammocks and sitting on the grass watching the rail jam, which is actually one of my favorite events on campus. It's where the ski and Snowboard Club sets out snow and then skiers air able Thio ski, which is so awesome. To see this tricks, this was the fire pit that was super super fun. Um, they were giving out free snacks, um, and drinks and stuff like that. So that was their those tables and then they also have live music. I was walking by when no one was praying, But this is what it would have looked like if there was someone there. Then as it became sunset, it was actually gorgeous watching the skiers, um, do their tricks. While the sun was just so gorgeous behind it, I feel like it kind of gives off the epitome of what from what is is really good skiing and really good sunsets, thes air, some of the pictures that were professionally taken. I thought that that was just a fun little video to show you all kind of the events that we hold on campus to help with community building and really feeling like we have a space to be social here on campus, especially with Cove. It I think the University of Vermont has done an exceptional job making sure all the students on campus feel safe as well as still feel like they have a community and aren't just isolated, um, in their residential halls. Thio end my Friday afternoon after my run, I sit and I watched the rial. Jim, as you all could see, I sat by the fire for a little bit. I saw I don't know how, but I actually deleted the footage. Um, my r a She was sitting by the fire and she gave me They were giving out, like, thes little Trader Joe's milk chocolate smashing smores with graham crackers and marshmallows that each student was able to individually get so even though we were able to actually makes more is obviously due to health reasons. With cove it we were still able tohave like cute little um, s'mores are nice from trader Joes. So she gave me one of these, um, other people were getting free snacks, um, like doughnuts and popcorn and stuff like that. So I think that even in just this short kind of brief video that I didn't really plan on making until I saw it. I was like, I have to show this to everyone else. I think that you could just see what a great community the University of Vermont is and how they really do care about their students and wanting to make sure everyone feels like, um, they're able to still have fun on campus despite, um, the circumstances with the pandemic. So thank you all for just watching this quick little video that I wanted to just share with all of you about something fun that I saw happening on campus, and I will see you all in the next video.
