I you see her pronounced? I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Vermont. Today we're gonna be talking a little bit about dining on campus, because if you're like me, food is the number one part of your life. So let's start off with where, where to get food. So wherever you live, you're about a three minute walk or so from the nearest dining hall. We also have plenty of retail locations, such as the PM Dairy Bar, skinny pancake, which is where I got this tea and where I'm sitting. We have the Brennans Pub, Henderson's Cafe and so so many where So when you go to those places, how do you buy the food? Well, we have a few different meal plans on. You have your identification card and you swipe in to each dining hall on what's in there. You can also go back and use as many sweets as you want per day, so you could go to the dining hall 10 times in one day if you wanted it. So one point equals $1 and this is what you spend at those retail locations. Although these were two separate plans, each plan has a little bit of book, so the unlimited plan has some points on it, so it's actually what I'm on. So I still have a look at this, and the points band comes to some swipes. So whatever plan you're on your silver access, all of our different dining options. We also do have a flex plan, which kind of middle ground and has about an equal amount of both swipes and points. UVM. But you probably want to see it for yourself. So we're going to start by going to Harris Mellows dining, the one that's closest to my building, which is right there. Each dining hall has a variety of options, which change every night at the heart. Here we have pizza, pasta and something fun, sometimes natural, sometimes put poor. So good we then have Peapod are strictly vegetarian. I'm not a vegetarian myself, but the tofu stir fry. Next is simple servings already made balanced meal, and there's always a vegetarian option here, too. The grills up next week in order the classics hamburgers, grilled cheese fries, etcetera. Finally, my zone, which is a separate room with allergy friendly foods for any and all allergy. So this is just one of our main dining halls, But each hall has similar options to accommodate different dietary needs and tastes. Let's go check out some of our retail options, so here we are, on the second floor of our students center in some of the retail dining options here on this, just where you can use those points, I want to spotlight. UPM stary bar behind us, which using his milk from you Dems own cows, which UVM students actually milk themselves. We also have signs telling you where to sit, where to stand in line, and we have a limited capacity in here. All of our dining halls look pretty similar as well as the unlimited dining halls on campus. The dining staff actually serve you instead of the usual self serve buffet style. You can still customize and get as much or as little food as you want. So now that you've seen the dining locations around here, um, it is almost finished. What is the food that you be? I'm like, Well, being totally honest, I am pleasantly surprised. I'd heard bad things will say about college dining, but you dance is actually really good. I'm not gonna lie, but I always have multiple options to choose from, and I actually enjoy eating that, as you've seen in the previous parts of the video. You have this very accommodating to different eating styles. Way also have events that promote those different eating styles, such as our plan to Pelusa, where everything in the dining collars vegetarian on that even decorate the whole place surrounding the theme. I know one this comment UVM is very food conscious And what does that mean? Well, you gon tries to keep it local as much as possible. So our cows provide milk for our ice cream and we get as much of our food as possible from local farms around the Burlington Vermont area. So we have industrial composting in each dining home. Actually signs about the trash can say for things you brought with you because everything in the dining hall is recyclable or compostable. Well, friends, Now you have the tea on you GM dining.
