Of course, we've had some rainy days here and there, but overall, it has been a great experience. I am so excited to show you a little bit about what life at the University of Vermont is like not just during the summer time, but during the actual academic year during the fall and spring semesters during the winter. What does that look like? How do we get through those cold winters and so much more A little bit about UVM. We are known as a public ivy institution. That means we place our academic integrity and vigor first, and with that, we also have a thriving social scene here as well. We have over 200 student government recognized associative clubs, and our university comprises of over 10,000 undergraduate students with about 3000 graduate students as well. So we're a relatively medium to large size public university were located in Burlington, Vermont, which is not the capital of Vermont, but it is the largest city in Vermont Now. If you're from places like New York or Toronto or any other large city like that, you're probably gonna look at Burlington and say That's not a city. We have a mayor you VMS situated just outside of the downtown area, just up the hill. Our connections to community are really, really strong. We have service learning classes that students can take here at UVM, where they can work directly with community agencies and schools to actually impact the community, engage with community members and things like that as well. We have courses and programs and co curricular opportunities that work on Lake Champlain off Lake Champlain, in the mountains and in surrounding areas to Burlington as well. As we love to say, everything is on the table and dinner is being served.
