The truth about Greek Life at UW

Greek life is a prominent community at UW. We have a greek row with about 18 sororities and over 20 fraternities. UW is one of the two schools in the nation that lets you move into your house right after joining. For women, they move into sororities after right formal fall recruitment (a couple weeks before school starts) or continuous open bidding (all school year long). Recruitment for fraternities is much less formal and can go all year round. Being in a greek house is a great way to become involved with a philanthropy, have a support system, and meet a community of people very quickly and easily!
