I wanted something that focused on improving myself as a human and being able to get back to the community as well. We really educate the whole you so we believe that working together and being collaborative really will allow you to advance much further What's really important and different about Fordham is that one of the first classes they offer is ethics that sets up a strong foundation into becoming a leader of today's world, being a business, you have to apply ethics to everything you're doing, there is human capital, there's environmental capital, and those are things that need to take into consideration, wanting to help others and having a purpose greater than getting the biggest job or making the most profit in a company and just kind of giving back to the community. I think that's what really attracted me to this school. A big piece of what Jesuit education is about is helping people discern what their gifts are and how you can turn those gifts into a meaningful career. Having that Jesuit base has really enabled me to stay grounded and really focus on not only what I want in my career, but also what I want to be. As I graduate, you might be from different backgrounds or have different ideas, but at the end of the day, we're all Fordham and we respect each other and where we come from.
