Applicant must have exceptional talent in vocal music, instrumental music, drama, or art. Audition is required.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA or demonstrate artistic or other talent.

Applicant must be involved in art or theater and demonstrate promise in visual and/or performing arts. Preference is given to Montana residents and/or children of alumni.

Applicant must be a talented student participating in Jazz Band and Chamber Choir as well as the area of drama and art.

Applicants must be new entering freshmen at Athens State University with outstanding potential as an art major in studio art, art education or computer graphics. Students must have a minimum 2.75 grade point average, meet all art program prerequisites and submit three original works.

Applicant must submit a portfolio for review or audition with the department of visual and performing arts. Applicant must show exceptional talent in the fields of art, music and theater. Applicant must be invited to campus.

Applicant must be a member of the Technical Student Association and won first place at the national championship in Cyberspace Pursuit and Imaging Technology. Applicant must intend on attending an Art Institute.

Applicant must be a first-time, full-time student, demonstrate ability through audition, portfolio, or other documented experience, and file FAFSA.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA for the music or theatre awards, minimum 2.5 GPA for the art award. Nomination by selected department is required.

Applicant must be studying in an area of art, creative writing, dance, music, theater. Audition or portfolio review and admission to the university required.
