Applicant must be an incoming freshman student with a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (minimum composite ACT score of 27) who is majoring in education, family and consumer sciences, fashion merchandising and apparel design, hotel and restaurant management, interior design, or nutrition and food science/dietetics.

Applicant must have a minimum 'C+' average from high school or a minimum 2.0 GPA from Dowling College. Priority given to permanent residents of Long Island.

Selection is based upon class rank, SAT or ACT scores, and academic merit.

Applicant must have financial need.

Applicant must be entering as a part-time graduate student in Education and Human Services.

Applicant must demonstrate financial need, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and agree to teach in high need public school districts in Dutchess County for three years after graduation.
