Applicant must be a graduate student with demonstrated financial need who has demonstrated a commitment to education. Preference given to Virginia residents who are enrolled in the Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership program.

Applicants must be pursuing a degree in education or a related field and be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university.

Applicants must have plans to pursue higher education in nursing or school teaching. Selection is based on academic merit and promise.

Applicants must be incoming freshmen, transfer students or currently enrolled students at Alabama State University in the College of Education.

Applicant must be a doctoral student researching topics relevant to aging and later-life learning. Graduate students whose research focuses on topics relevant to Elderhostel or later-life learning are also encourage to apply.

Applicant must be pursuing graduate work toward an advanced degree in the electrical industry. Selection is based upon academic aptitude, vocational promise, character, financial need, and willingness to continue a career in a field related to the utility industry and related fields.

Applicant must be a Native American and demonstrate financial need.

Applicant must have graduated from Nassau or Suffolk Community College with a minimum 2.5 GPA and be enrolled in the School of Education.

Applicant must be a North Dakota resident and the child of a North Dakota resident. Transcripts, essay, and three letters of recommendation required.

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student who is a United States citizen or permanent resident (preferably) of Polish heritage.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and major in education.

Applicant must be an incoming full-time freshman student who plans to major in education and can demonstrate financial need, but is ineligible for Pell or PHEAA grants.
