Applicants must be a high school senior and have a coach who is a current member of the Iowa Cheerleading Coaches' Association. Students must also have a 3.5 GPA or higher. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership and community involvement.

Applicants must apply to and audition for the CSCA All Colorado Spirit Team. One spirit leader will be selected as a scholarship recipient based on community involvement, number of years in a spirit program, academic achievement and letters of recommendation. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicants must be senior cheerleaders who will be competing in the Cheer Classics put on by the Arkansas Cheer Coaches Association. Selection is based on the two-page essay, community service and three letters of recommendation.
