Applicant must be a Ukiah High School senior who plans to attend a vocational school, community college, or four-year college/university. Selection based upon sense of humor and love of family, for their participation in organized sports throughout high school, and for prior academic performance. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Selection based upon rodeo skills.

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Stevens Point Area Senior High who participated in at least two varsity sports and is pursuing a post-secondary degree. Minimum 3.5 GPA required.

Selection is based on the representation by the applicant of the following traits: courteousness, loyalty, faithfulness, honesty, kindness and generosity. In addition, the applicant must show patriotism and dedication to the sport of rodeo.

Applicants must participate in either the horse, livestock or rodeo portion of the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. university and write an essay describing their experience with attending or interest in rodeo.
