Applicants must be a student with a disability, a student enrolling as a health sciences major, or any special education student who is currently attending a secondary school or has been accepted to attend a secondary school, technical college, junior college, 4-year college or University. Students will need to submit an essay on 'What medical device, technology, or therapeutic technique do you believe has made the biggest difference in the life (or will make in the future) of a disabled adult or child? Tell us what your chosen device / technology / technique is, and explain how it has/will make a difference.' Awarded twice each year.
