Applicant must be an entering student majoring in music.

Applicant must be a member of Alpha Sigma Iota who is enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in music with a qualifying disability or to a member pursuing studies to become a teacher or therapist in this field.

Applicant must have a bachelor's degree in architecture, art, dance, landscape architecture, music, theater, regional or urban planning and be continuing on to graduate study. Preference will be given to applicants under the age of twenty-five.

Applicant must be a high school senior from the Merrimack Valley who is making music their life's vocation.

Applicant must either audition for award or show academic excellence

Applicant must be in financial need and must intend to become a music major

Applicant must be from the city of Ojai or Ventura. Applicant must submit three letters of recommendations, with two addressing applicant's musical qualifications.

Applicant must be a resident of Ventura County, CA or Ventura College. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in music.

Applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must be planning to major in music as a B.A. or B.Mus. candidate. Audition required.

Applicant must have demonstrated need for financial aid and be in good academic standing. Preference will be given to an applicant from Connecticut and then to another non-Virginia applicant. Applicant must have declared major.

Applicant must have outstanding performance ability in art, forensics, music, theatre, or dance.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate significant participation in music programs, and be nominated and chosen by a selection committee of music faculty.
