Selection is based upon artistic achievements that demonstrate the potential for great success in the visual arts. Applicant must be nominated by high school art teacher.

Applicant must submit a portfolio of artwork, have a strong personal character and an interest in the social and cultural aspect of making art.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, a minimum ACT score of 25, earn a minimum of 12 credit hours, and be an example of the Honor Code. An interest in the arts and science is required.
