Applicant must be an entering freshman at Hofstra University who will major in English and has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, AB-540 student or DACA recipient who is member of one of the following ethnic groups: African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American/Alaska Native.
