Applicant is required to have a GPA of 2.5 in science, technical or nursing disciplines, GPA 2.5 required in non-technical disciplines.

Applicant must be a resident of the Greater Los Angeles Area who is enrolled in or accepted to a degree program in nursing. Selection is based upon the applicant's potential to achieve goals, personal courage, and financial need.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Minnechaug Regional High School who will pursue nursing or an allied field.

Applicant must be a registered nurse with a master's degree and a completed research application package with signed Research Grant Agreement. Applicant must be ready to start, or have already started, the research project.

Applicant must be a registered nurse seeking advanced preparation for a full-time position in supervision, administration, or teaching with a direct relationship to lung and respiratory control.

Applicant must be the child or close relative of a paid member of a NNYVFA fire department. Applicant must have the recommendation of the chief of a paid NNYVFA fire department.

Selection is based upon description of career goals, volunteer and work experience, awards/honors, letters of recommendation, transcript, class rank, GPA, and financial need.
