Applicants must be nursing students at schools that have registered in the scholarship program by linking to the CampusRN website. An essay is required. Finalists may be asked to submit awards, letters of recommendation and other materials upon selection. One award is given for each of the six geographical regions.

Applicants must be enrolled in a physician assistant degree program at a school located in the state of New Jersey. They must be student members of the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants (NJSSPA). Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

Applicants must be admitted to Trine University and indicate interest in the pre-physician assistant track on their admission application. Students must have a high school 3.5 grade point average and rank in the top 25% of their graduating class. Applicants must score a minimum ACT 25 and SAT 1220.
