Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 22. Special consideration is given to applicant with disabilities and/or financial need. Top ten finalists are required to write an essay.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from San Dieguito Union High School district who will pursue a career in counseling, medicine, nursing, psychology or special education. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a resident of Wayne County who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution pursuing a field of study in developmental disabilities or special education.

Applicant must be a Portage County resident who is pursuing a degree in the field of special education. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a new graduate student who has been accepted into one of the eligible academic programs and will enroll in at least six credits.

Applicant must be a full-time student enrolled in an education degree program leading to special education certification in the state of New York. Nomination from Department Chairperson and letter of recommendation required.

Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States who is a current college student majoring in special education. The applicant must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of classes for the upcoming fall semester with a minimum 2.5 GPA. An essay on the following topic is required:...

Applicant must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled full-time. Preference is given to minority students.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who was an active participant in band or choir and will attend a four-year post-secondary institution with a major in music, nursing or special education.

Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident who enrolled at an accredited school and is the child, wife, or widow of a veteran, granddaughters and great-granddaughters of veterans are eligible if they are American Legion Auxiliary members. Minimum 3.2 GPA and financial need required.

Applicant must be an Indiana resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA who agrees to teach in Indiana upon certification. Award may be used at Indiana schools only.

Applicant must be a rising student and demonstrate financial need.

Applicant must rank in the top fifth of class and have a minimum combined SAT I score of 1000. Selection is based upon academic achievement.
