Applicant must be nominated and must show commitment to preserving environmental resources and/or tribal public policy or health care. Applicant must have demonstrated leadership and be in the top quarter of his or her class.

Applicant must be planning to pursue a career in public service and needs to attend graduate school. Applicant must be nominated by his or her school's Truman Faculty Representative. Applicant must be in the top quarter of his or her class.

Applicant must be attending or planning to attend graduate school. Applicant must have outstanding academic credentials, unmet financial need, the will to succeed, leadership and public service, and appreciation for the arts. Applicant must be nominated. Applicant can be a recent college graduate.

Applicant must be planning a career to teach or do research at a college or university level.

Applicant must hold a B.A. degree or equivalent before the beginning date of the grant and be in good health. Preference is given to an applicant whose higher education was received primarily by universities in the United States and who has not lived in the country to where he or she...
