Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be majoring or minoring in political science.

Applicant must be a member of the Ashland-based Brethren Church. Letter verifying membership from the church's pastor is required.

Applicant must participate in the summer ministry program of the Board of Christian Education of the Ashland-based Brethren Church.

Applicant must attend the Buckeye Girls State program.

Applicant must have a sibling from the same family enrolled as a full-time student. Both students must have earned a minimum high school GPA of 2.5, incoming transfers must have earned a minimum 2.5 college GPA.

Applicant must receive superior rating at the Mohican District Science Fair or the Ohio Academy of Science Fair.

Applicant must be an incoming transfer student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and an A.A., A.S., A.A.S., or Canadian Degree equivalent. Alpha Beta Gamma designation on transcript is required.

Applicant must be an incoming transfer student who is a member of Phi Theta Kappa with a minimum 3.0 GPA and an A.A., A.S., A.A.S., or Canadian Degree equivalent. Phi Theta Kappa designation on transcript is required.

Applicant must be an incoming transfer student (with 15 or more credits from previously attended colleges - excluding post-secondary course work) who has a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must receive a church scholarship that meets Internal Revenue Service guidelines for charitable deduction.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.8 GPA and a minimum combined SAT score of 970 (composite ACT score of 21) and must demonstrate potential to do well at the school.

Applicant must be regularly admitted to the University and be able to demonstrate contributions outside the classroom in areas such as music, theatre, student government, athletics, church, and community.

Applicant must have a minimum composite SAT score of 1050 (composite ACT score of 23) and must either rank in the top quarter of class or have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
