Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must be a graduate of a public school in Newport News with a minimum 3.25 GPA, a minimum SAT score of 1000 and involvement in school, church, or community.

Applicant must be an education major with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must be a visual arts major who demonstrate talent and has a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Applicant must rank in the upper 40% of their high school graduating class. Application will be mailed to eligible candidates, applicant must apply to the college and file the FAFSA in order to be considered.

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is majoring in economics. Financial need based on FAFSA required.

Applicant must be re-entering the job market due to necessity, i.e. death of spouse, divorce, etc. Re-entry may be applied to a woman who is already in the job market but needs additional skills as well as someone new to the job market.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student. Demonstration of academic merit and financial need are required.

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Preference will be given to applicants majoring in music, dance, or theatre. Financial need required.

Applicant must be an undergraduate student. Demonstration of academic merit and financial need are required.

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student who is diabetic. Letter of recommendation and medical verification is also required with application.

Applicant must be an entering freshman with a minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1400 and rank in top 5% of their secondary school class.

Successful applicants have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1350 and rank in the top 10% of their secondary school class.
