Applicant must demonstrate promise, talent, and seriousness of purpose, and financial need.

Applicant must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA and complete at least 12 credits per semester.

Applicant must be a Mesa County, Colo., high school graduate pursuing an associate degree at the Unified Technical Education Campus and must complete at least 12 credits per semester.

Applicant must be enrolled in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and a Colorado resident for at least three years. Incoming freshmen must submit a portfolio of their work to the art faculty.

Applicant must participate in a two-day competition applying his/her academic skills. Applicant must be enrolled in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Natural Sciences and Humanities, or the School of Professional Studies.
