Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Charlotte, Glades, Hendry or Lee County high school who will pursue a degree in architecture, business, chemistry, computer science, engineering, international relations, journalism, law, literature, medicine, physics, or political science. Financial need and minimum 3.5 GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Adams Central High School who will pursue post-secondary education in the field of education or journalism.

Applicant must be a resident of western Massachusetts who will pursue post-secondary education in english, journalism or a related field.

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution in Texas or a resident of Texas pursuing a degree in journalism. Minimum 2.25 GPA required. Award recognizes excellence in opinion writing.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Franklin College who majored in journalism.

Applicant must be a college student with an interest in journalism who has been published in a college or university newspaper/publication or online.

Applicant must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in a communications and journalism related major. Selection is based on academic history, extracurricular activities, and employment history.

Applicant must be a high school senior in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, or Citrus counties in West Central Florida who is pursuing a media/journalism career. Essay, letter, website OR portfolio, and three letters of recommendation required.

Applicant must be a full-time female undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college in Nevada. Applicant must be majoring in communication studies, marketing, public relations, media studies, or journalism. Minimum 2.75 GPA required.

Applicant must be a Christian. Selection is based upon Christian commitment and involvement in the church, academic achievement, recommendations, journalist experience and talent, goals, and potential professional usefulness as a religious journalist.
