Applicant must be an incoming student who was the valedictorian of their graduating high school class. Minimum ACT composite score of 25 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1130) and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a transfer student who has completed their sophomore year with a minimum 3.5 GPA at an Alabama community college.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who ranks in the top 5% of their high school class. Minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 26) required.

Applicant must rank in the top 10% of their graduating class. Minimum GPA between 3.4 and 3.74 and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1000 (composite ACT score of 22) required.

Applicant must have a minimum GPA between 3.0 and 3.39.

Applicant must be a high school senior, high school graduate, or hold a GED who has been accepted to a college/school or who is able to provide proof that an application has been made. Cadets and senior members are eligible.

Applicant must be currently enrolled or will enrolling at an undergraduate institution. A 300- to 500-word essay how the applicant honors America's military heroes is required.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student with a minimum 3.7 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1300 (composite ACT score of 29).

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.69 and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1180 (composite ACT score of 26).

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student with a GPA between 3.3 and 3.49 and a combined SAT Reasoning score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 23).

Applicant must be a transfer student with a GPA between 3.25 and 3.84 and a minimum of 20 credit hours.

Applicant must have an ACT score between 30 and 36 who has been accepted into the UNA Honors Program.

Applicant must have have applied for admission to the University with a GPA between 25 and 29. Award amount is determined by GPA.
