Applicant must have a composite ACT score between 27 and 29.

Applicant must have a strong ACT score, high GPA, and participate in extracurricular activities. Applicant must send in an essay on 'Why I want to attend Henderson State University' and needs a recommendation.

Applicant must be in good academic standing and be in need financial aid. FAFSA and State Farm paperwork are required in addition to application that must be submitted to the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.

Applicant must be transferring to the university with a completion of 14 hours.

Applicant must have a minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1250 (minimum ACT score of 28).

Applicant must have a combined SAT Reasoning score between 1130 and 1160 (ACT score between 25 and 26). Transfer applicant must have a minimum 3.4 GPA with a minimum of 24 transfer hours.

Applicant must be a high school valedictorian or salutatorian. Applicant must show leadership ability and strong testimony of Christian character.

Applicant must have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score between 1170 and 1230 (ACT score of 27 or higher). Transfer applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA with 24 or more transfer hours.

Applicant must play varsity basketball. Tryout with coaches is required.

Applicant must play varsity volleyball. Tryout with coaches is required.

Applicant must be on the varsity tennis team. Tryout with coaches is required.

Applicant must be a dependent of a JBU graduate or a sibling of a current JBU student.

Audition with Music Department is required.
