Applicant must have the highest GPA in the Teacher Education Program, be enrolled in student teaching at the K-12 level, and be recommended by the department's faculty.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and at least 60 credit hours and must be known as one who uses his/her hardships as challenges to grow stronger and is enthusiastic about the opportunity to become a teacher.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be seeking admission to the Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, or K-12 Teacher Licensure Program.

Applicant must have graduated from a La Plata County high school, have completed 60 credit hours, and be enrolled full-time. Awarded to the applicant with the highest GPA of all applicants. Preference is given to applicant who demonstrates an interest in music.
