Applicant must have at least a novice class amateur radio license, be a member of ARRL, and be attending school in the ARRL Central Division (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin). Preference is given to residents of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin who are majoring in electrical engineering.

Applicant must have an amateur radio license and be accepted at a two- or four-year college. Preference is given to residents of Oklahoma or Texas.

Applicant must have a general class amateur radio license and be attending school in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, or Vermont. Preference is given to residents of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont who are majoring in communications, electronics, and related fields....

Applicant must be under 30 years of age, have an amateur radio license, and be studying in Mississippi. Preference is given to Mississippi residents.

Applicant must have at least a general class amateur radio license and be attending school in the FCC Fifth Call District (Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas). Preference is given to residents of Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas who have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must have an amateur radio license. Preference is given to residents of Illinois studying in the state. Award may be granted to an Indiana or Wisconsin applicant if not qualified Illinois applicant applies.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or within three months of citizenship and have at least a technician class amateur radio license. Preference is given to residents of Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin (FCC Ninth Call District).

Applicant must be a current Eastern Surfing Association member in good standing.

Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree, have an interest in working with children, and submit personal data, cover letter, resume, transcript, and letters of recommendation. Interview is required.

Applicant must have at least a general class amateur radio license and be attending or accepted at an accredited four-year school. Preference is given to applicants who live within 70 miles of Schenectady, N.Y. and who are majoring in engineering, sciences, or related field.

Applicant must be an active technician class or higher who is studying international studies at an accredited post-secondary institution.

Applicant must be a resident of the state of Georgia who has an active technician plus amateur radio license or higher.

Applicant must have an amateur radio license and submit essay on the role of amateur radio in his or her life. Applicant must be a New Mexico resident.
