Applicant must be Hispanic or of Hispanic descent who is a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, science or engineering for the upcoming academic year. Financial need is required.

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at a mainstream accredited college or university with pre-lingual bi-lateral hearing loss in the severe to profound range.

Applicant must be a full-time graduate student with a moderate to profound pre-lingual bilateral hearing loss who is attending an accredited law school or a master's/doctoral program in public policy or public policy administration.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen between 18 and 24 years of age and living on one of four AmeriCorps campuses in Denver, Colorado, Sacramento, California, Perry Point, Maryland, or Vicksburg, Mississippi. Applicants must commit to 10 months of service. Awarded when term of service is completed.

Selection is based upon past academic achievement, leadership abilities and potato-related areas of graduate study (i.e. agricultural engineering, agronomy, crop and soil science, entomology, food sciences, horticulture, plant pathology, etc.).
