Applicant must be a Catholic in good standing, have strong commitment to pro-life activities, and be able to exhibit leadership skills through one or more of the following: sports club/team, student government, choir/student club, Ave Maria Campus Household, event organizing, or public speaking.

Selection based upon character, having/expressing a desire to help others, having a creative flair, and community service. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Applicant must be an incoming student who is a National Merit Finalist or National Merit Semi-Finalist.

Applicant must be an incoming student with a minimum 3.55 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1330.

Applicant must be an incoming student with a minimum 3.4 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score between 1210 and 1320 (composite ACT score between 27 and 29).

Applicant must be a transfer student who has completed between 15 and 30 semester hours. Minimum 3.55 GPA required.
