Applicant must rank in top 5% of their secondary school class or have a minimum 3.75 GPA with a minimum composite ACT score of 33.

Applicants typically rank in the top 20 percent of graduating class. Awards reserved for academically superior students.

Applicant must be a first-year or new transfer student who attends full-time. Award is based upon academic achievement and co-curricular activity involvement.

Applicant must have two of the following: a minimum 3.5 GPA, rank in the top fifth of secondary school class, a minimum combined SAT I score of 1130 (composite ACT score of 25).

Applicant must be a full-time freshman. Scholarship is based on merit.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.8 GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 30 (minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1310) and demonstrate strong leadership qualities. Selection is based upon essay submission, letter of recommendation, and personal interview.

Applicants must be academically superior students and typically rank in the top ten percent of graduating class.

Applicant must be actively engaged in the community and in co-curricular activities. Recipient must live on campus and be active in campus life.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who is among the most academically qualified admitted student.

Applicant must have a minimum composite ACT score of 28 and a minimum 3.85 GPA. Average scholarship recipient has an ACT score of 32 and a 4.0 GPA. Semi-finalists selected will be required to participate in an on-campus interview in February.

Minimum 3.25 GPA and minimum composite ACT of 24 to qualify for the $500 award. Minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum composite ACT of 24 to qualify for the $1,000 award.

Applicant must have excelled in a challenging high school curriculum including a number of advanced placement and honors courses and must have consistently demonstrated superior academic performance in all measures at the high school level.

Applicants must intend to pursue an MLS degree, plan to work in children's librarianship and be U.S. or Canadian citizens. Selection is based on academic excellence, leadership and desire to work with children in any type of library.
