Applicants must be high school juniors or seniors in Iowa who have participated in the Iowa Games. Students must demonstrate good citizenship, sportsmanship, and excellent character.

Applicants must live in Iowa and have been directly affected by childhood cancer, either having had cancer before age 18 or being a sibling of that individual. Students must be accepted into or currently enrolled in an accredited two- or four-year institution and hold a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Applicants must reside within the boundaries of the Iowa PGA section, including the cities of Monmouth, Macomb, Galesburg, Moline, Rock Island, Kewanee and Galena. Students must demonstrate an interest in golf, community involvement and financial need.
