Applicants must be high-school seniors, GED holders beginning college, or currently enrolled community college, undergraduate or graduate students. A minimum 3.0 GPA or higher is required. Students must submit a 750-word essay describing a seemingly insurmountable adversity that they overcame and how it changed them for the better.

Applicants must identify as transgender and be pursuing a degree or certificate from an accredited college, university, technical or vocational program which has a campus in Kent County, Michigan.

Applicants must be enrolling in or currently enrolled in a U.S. two- or four-year institution with a minimum GPA of 3.6. Students must write an essay and submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher or employer.

Applicants must be high school seniors accepted into college or current college students. Students must demonstrate financial need and write an essay discussing the pressure of debt upon the student.

Applicants must live in Michigan and be in treatment for kidney failure or have received a kidney transplant. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled at an accredited two or four-year institution.

Applicants must be enrolling as full-time students at an accredited four-year college or university and maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are high school sophomores, juniors or seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students must include an essay and a letter of recommendation along with their application materials.
