Applicant must hold a PhD or equivalent in the field of humanities or social science involving Yemen.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.3 GPA and between 64 and 95 credits.

Applicants must be invited to apply for this scholarship.

Applicant must have an outstanding academic record and rank in the top five percent of their graduating class.

Selection is based upon leadership, community service, and academic performance.

Applicant must be a freshman who has graduated from Reading High School, Northeast Middle School, and 13th & Green and/or 13th & Union Elementary Schools.

Applicant must be a student of color and show academic excellence as well as community and/or extracurricular involvement.

Applicant must be an active member in their church. Letter from pastor clearly stating their active membership in the church is required.

Applicant must be class valedictorian or salutatorian, a member of the National Honor Society, a National Merit Finalist or Semi-Finalist, or a Berks/Montgomery Science Fair winner.

Applicant must have a commendable academic record and rank in the top quarter of their class.

Applicant must be the child of an Albright graduate.

Applicant must have a strong academic record and rank in the top twenty percent of their class.

Applicant must be present for either an on-campus audition (for music and theatre) or a portfolio review (for art and journalism).
